With the support of Global Affairs Canada (GAC), Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), in partnership with the Mongolian Ministry of Education (MOE), has launched the SkillShift Project. As part of this initiative, a baseline study is currently being conducted. This five-year program aims to equip Mongolian youth—particularly women and persons living with disabilities with the skills needed to contribute to the country’s economic and social development.

🔸Within the framework of the project, activities will be implemented under four main components:

🔸Development of National Vocational Qualifications

🔸National TVET Leadership Program

🔸National Gender and Inclusion Policy for TVET

🔸National Teacher Training Program

To support these objectives, baseline information is being collected from selected polytechnic colleges. This will help establish the initial situation at the start of the SkillShift Project. The IRIM research team, in collaboration with the Canadian consulting firm Advisem Services Inc, is carrying out this data collection.
