📌IRIM shares Mongolia’s experience at the Team Europe Democracy Network Annual Meeting 2026

On 16–17 June 2026, IRIM participated in the Team Europe Democracy (TED) Network Annual Meeting held in Brussels, Belgium, where it shared its experience in implementing initiatives that promote democratic resilience, information integrity, and civic engagement in Mongolia.

The meeting was organized under the theme “Strengthening Governance and Protecting Democracy”, bringing together more than 150 representatives from the European Union, EU Member States, CSOs, and democracy support practitioners. Participants discussed emerging challenges to democratic governance, the growing impact of disinformation, and approaches to strengthening public trust and citizen participation.

As part of the programme, IRIM participated in a panel discussion and contributed reflections from the project “Action for Integrity and Democracy against Disinformation”, implemented in Mongolia and the Philippines from June 2025 to June 2026 with the support of the TED initiative. During the discussion, IRIM shared lessons learned from studies on disinformation and community-based pilot interventions designed to strengthen young people’s resilience to disinformation.
