Arrived from a field work at the Polytechnic College in Erdene soum, Tuv province

Warm greetings for the new academic year to our esteemed teachers and to all the pupils and students dedicated to learning!

As part of IRIM’s work in the education and agriculture sectors, we are conducting a gender analysis and developing recommendations for the Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care programs at two selected Polytechnic colleges.

The consultant team previously worked with the Polytechnic College in Khentii province, and this time they met with the management, faculty, teachers, and student representatives of Erdene soum in Tuv province.

The recommendations will be incorporated into the 2025–2026 academic year programs of the Polytechnic Colleges, with results finalized and presented this September. Next year, the outcomes of the implemented recommendations will be evaluated with the support of program faculty and students.

This initiative not only contributes significantly to developing gender-sensitive curriculum in the education sector but also marks an important step toward promoting gender equality and awareness in the agricultural sector.
