Guidelines for Remote Work Arrangements for Civil Servants Approved Based on Research Findings 💻

The IRIM conducted the “Assessment of the Current Implementation of Family-Friendly Workplace Policies” during 2025–2026, commissioned by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection and UNICEF, with financial support from the LORINET Foundation.

Based on the findings and recommendations of the study, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection has approved the “General Guidelines for Remote Work Arrangements for Civil Servants.” The approval of these guidelines provides public sector organizations with a clearer and more standardized framework for implementing remote and online work arrangements for civil servants. It also represents an important step toward promoting work–life balance, advancing family-friendly workplace policies, and introducing more flexible working arrangements across government institutions.

The IRIM is always pleased to see the study findings translated into policy decisions and practical implementation, contributing to positive changes in workplace practices and support for employees and their families.
