Bayarmaa has been a Senior Researcher at IRIM since 2012 and holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in sociology from the National University of Mongolia. She has experience in governance research, especially on civic participation, gender, and transparency. Recently, she has also dedicated her efforts to conducting several surveys regarding MSMEs.
Minjirmaa Namjinbaatar is a sociologist with a Master of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Master of Arts in Sociology from the National University of Mongolia (NUM). She served as a Board Member and Consultant at the Independent Research Institute of Mongolia since 2020 and has been serving as Chief Operating Officer since 2025. With almost a decade of experience in social research and consultancy, led numerous impactful projects across Mongolia and several Asian countries. Her work has impact in critical areas including social innovation, community development, gender equality, and transparency in governance. She is an active member of several professional associations, and her dedication to professional development is demonstrated through her participation in numerous international training programs and fellowships. Minjirmaa aims to leverage her extensive research and consultancy experience to drive positive social change and develop evidence-based policies that benefit communities and stakeholders across the region. Fluent in Mongolian, English, and Russian, has worked extensively in Mongolia, many Central Asian countries, and Myanmar.
