DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
The aim of this project was to support NGOs, interested in budget transparency, by providing brochures, training materials, promotion, and by organizing advocacy activities.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED:
Advocacy service in this project consisted of 3 main activities:
- Advocacy meetings
Meetings with local authorities of target aimags were hold. Workshops and advertisement activities were hold in cooperation with local authorities.
- Organization of workshops and advertisement activities.
Workshops were organized, covering local authorities and accountants of local government organizations. During the workshop training manuals were distributed.
- Dissemination via mass media
During the advocacy activities, information were disseminated through TV, newspapers and internet on a regular basis.
