Today, Mr. Giulio Bordon, researcher from the Social Protection team at Maastricht Graduate School of Governance, has visited the IRIM’s office first time in accordance with the collaborative research project titled “Study on Herders’ Behavior Towards Social and Health Insurance” commissioned by the ILO Mongolia and MLSP and implemented between 2020-2022.

During the visit, research partners, IRIM and Maastricht Graduate School of Governance representative, discussed the results of the research collaboration, further plan to disseminate the research findings among the academic audiences and develop policy brief to inform the decision-makers.

The research final report was officially released by the formal launch event organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, The General Authority for Social Insurance, the General Authority for Health Insurance a on 2nd June 2022 with aims to introduce the research findings to the national and rural area stakeholders and NGOs focusing on herders’ livelihoods and wellbeing.
