Employment opportunity:  Project development manager (1 position)

Starts: May 7, 2018

Ends: December 31, 2019 / Subject to extension by revision of contract/

Probation period: Up to 3 months

Level of Effort: Full-time

Venue: IRIM office, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia

The manager is responsible for the following major tasks:

  1. Manage, coordinate and improve project development practice;
  2. Develop project development /fundraising plan/ programme, continually improve and expand it;
  3. Build strong cooperation with potential clients, partners, promote the organization to public, clients/donors, partners;
  4. Extend consultant network, involve them in project development, project implementation activities, build up effective cooperation model;
  5. Build and maintain relationships with donors and identify funding opportunities;
  6. Conceptualize and design projects and develop local partnerships;
  7. Develop and manage organization’s public relation activity.

Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years’ experience designing or managing programs in the international development sector;
  2. Strong experience in cooperating with international and government organizations;
  3. At least Master’s level degree in relevant field;
  4. Excellent conceptual and critical analysis skills, ability to interpret varied information sources and write concisely and persuasively in English
  5. Strong networking, interpersonal and presentation skills
  6. Computer literacy, strong numeracy skills and experience developing budgets in MS Excel

Proven track-record developing projects and raising funds from institutional donors will be an advantage.
